How we calculate our prices and delivery prices

All prices on this website are quoted including VAT. Generally across our site we have endeavoured to keep our prices as low and competitive as possible and not introduce pack sizes on most items to allow our customers to be as flexible as possible when ordering, but we have added pack sizes for our most popular products at heavily discounted prices.

To allow us to provide the excellent service we aspire to (in terms of order fulfilment, checking orders, quality of items, good packaging, instructions, free samples, providing Paypal as payment method and speed in turnaround of your order) our prices on this site are higher for the individual items than on our sister site Subli Metals. That site is aimed at printing businesses – so prices are listed ex VAT and on that site we have an overall minimum order level, set at £39 plus VAT per order and a higher mainland UK carriage charge of £8.95 plus VAT per order. You may order from either site, the products listed are identical, but orders received through the Subli Metals site will always take priority over CraftiMetals orders in terms of speed of despatch. Please also remember we operate on the 4 day working week – Mon-Thurs, so orders received on or after Thursday afternoon – will not despatch till Tues the following week at the earliest.

We have a very simple delivery pricing structure,  based on order value not weight – just type your postcode into the calculator and the site will work it out for you.

Please note the basic price is subsidised at present (our rate from Parcelforce is just under £8 a parcel before packaging costs – 50p to a £1 -are added!) so we may send very small orders by regular post.

Mainland UK (excl Highlands and Islands):

• under £114 per order – £6.74 (inc VAT) for packaging and Parcelforce or Royal mail shipping
• orders over £114 – Carriage paid (for packaging and Parcelforce 24 shipping!)

Highlands and Islands of Scotland:

• under £180 – £14.50 per order for packaging and Parcelforce 48
• orders over £180 – Carriage paid!

Isle of Wight:

• under £180 – £17.40 per order for packaging and ParcelForce24
• orders over £180 – Carriage paid!

Isle of Man and Isle of Scilly

• under £180 – £18.60 per order for packaging and Parcelforce 48 orders
• orders over £180 – Carriage paid!

Northern Ireland

• under £180 – £21.54 per order for packaging and Parcelforce 48 orders
• orders over £180 – Carriage Paid

Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg & Netherlands

• £14.99 per order for Parcelforce Euro Economy (3- 5 day shipping)

France (exc Corsica), Denmark & Italy

• £19.99 per order for ParcelForce Euro Economy (3-5 day shipping)

Austria, Poland, Norway, Portugal, Hungary & Spain (excl Balearics, Canary Islands and North African Territories)

• £27.50 per order for ParcelForce Euro Economy (3- 5 day shipping).

Sweden, & Finland 

• £29.99 per order for ParcelForce Euro Economy (3-5 day shipping).

Romania

• £39.99 per order for ParcelForce Euro Economy (3- 5 day shipping).

Canary and Balearic Islands of Spain

Iceland

• Estimate at £65.00 (Based on 10kg)
• Our couriers do not offer a flat rate option for Iceland. It is all weight based. Please place your order as normal. You will need to pay the estimation and we will calculate the approx weight once we have the details of your order. We can then tell you whether there is a difference to pay (or to be refunded). If shipping is unacceptable, we can then cancel the order and give a full refund.

• WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE OF THESE AREAS AT PRESENT – SORRY!

* Parcelforce24 delivery service, does not mean Same day despatch. We aim to despatch all orders the same week (with most despatching next working day, or day after) but obviously high item, bulk discounted orders may take longer, as all items are manufactured on site. Items despatched on a ParcelForce24 service on a Friday should be delivered on a Monday. If SATURDAY delivery is required (where available and possible) there will be an additional £15.60 to pay – please contact us to discuss and arrange. Please alos remember we operate on a 4 day working week Mon-thurs.

All prices quoted are Ex VAT.

• Most of our items are despatched by courier as we are located in a rural area. If we have to / need to despatch by post we have a 6 mile, 20 minute round trip to town to send out, so the postage charge then has to cover this plus all the other standard charges for packaging (up to £1 but at least 50p) recorded delivery, paypal fee, printing of the invoice, time taken etc (when we have non mainland UK orders to post, which are too expensive to courier, we can stand in a queue at the Post office for up to 15 minutes!) These costs are the same for a large order as a small one.
• We will mainly send recorded/tracked,  as every time we try to send non signed for we get items that don’t turn up – which we then have to replace at more time and cost!
• To offset this we offer FREE shipping at the low level of £114 an order, to encourage you to order more and make us all more profitable! Unfortunately this is not available to our customers abroad.
