We are Nicci and Carl and we are the directors of Subli Metals Ltd, the family-run company based in Yorkshire on the East Coast that is the sister company to CraftiMetals. We started the company ourselves and now include 12 excellent full and part-time members of staff – Claire, our excellent workshop manager plus Pippa, Emily, Louise, Caroline, Tina, Jodie, Lisa, Jo, and Rebecca – who make up our super CraftiMetals team (oh and not forgetting the 4 workshop dogs – Petal, Trixie, Donder and Blitzen!)

We started in retail sublimation printing in 2006, began trading general wholesale sublimation printing blanks in 2008 and in 2011 decided to specialise in printable metal products only. In 2022 we decided to launch a CraftiMetals site – to market our existing sublimation aluminium range at crafters, to craft with or on our metal instead of just using it to print on.

We have seen our business grow from strength to strength and we now stock a huge range of aluminium, coated for sublimation printing in various colours, thicknesses and finishes, which we then manufacture ‘ooop north’ here in beautiful Yorkshire into a vast range of items, that are perfect as a crafting surface. We applied for Made in Britain status in 2022 and gained the right to proudly display the logo above. Our range is constantly expanding – we provide everything from jewellery blanks to large signs and from bookmarks to clocks. Please use our search bar at the top of our site to find specific items quickly (just type name or the size required in mm, without the mm, to see a list of items). As we have experience from both sides of the industry we are able to provide support and advice to you. For starters, we have comprehensive metal crafting instructions available in our Info tab and these, along with other information and hints and tips, are also on our website (please see the inspiration gallery tab). Ongoing, we keep you informed by sending regular updates and newsletters by email and for easy reference also include printed copies in your orders, and for reference they are also available on the news and offers tab.

We strive to be a leader of innovation in our specialised field and have invested heavily into offering a custom cutting service which means we can now offer many unique shapes and internal cuts and can also cut almost ANY shape from sublimation metal which you may require. We aim to allow complete flexibility in ordering from us, so not only are most of our products customisable with corner, hole and hanging or display options but we also generally have no minimum order per item. We also group many of our popular ranges into packs which helps you discover the range of metals/finishes we offer at discounted prices. On this site we do not have a minimum order but our prices on individual items are higher. On our sister Sublimetals’ site, where the individual prices are are lower and bulk discounts higher, we have set a £39 minimum order level across the site to allow us to maintain our high service level and remain profitable. We offset this on both sites by offering ‘Carriage paid’ shipping at the low level of only £95!

We pride ourselves on our super service – even though we manufacture over 90% of our items in house, we still offer a very quick turnaround (over 95% of orders despatch same or next day), use only tracked services, have a large stock holding (we are rarely out of stock), quality packing and packaging, including instructions and printed newsletters etc

We respond to YOUR ideas and have many products on our website that were originally suggested by customers. If you see something you would like us to produce, email us and we will try our very best to help. Order issues however need to be solved using our “Shortage, Damage, Incorrect item notification’ procedure (also listed on the tabs at the top of the site) so we can sort any issue promptly.
