JULY/AUGUST NEWSLETTER 2024

In this newsletter we are proud to unveil major updates to 2 of our key categories – Aluminium Sheet and Business / Wallet Cards – they have both been improved with the addition of many of our new finishes and colours, alongside photos of each, to help you choose.

As normal, this issue we have some new products to showcase along with exploring some brilliant ideas for our products – starting with Christmas ideas (well in advance, as usual!) using our new magnetic steel.

Our new Outdoor Grade metal has been added to many appropriate products across our range as well as in the Aluminium Sheet section. It is available in White, Brushed Silver, and Brushed Gold 0.5 mm, plus White and Double Sided White 1 mm. This Outdoor Grade metal is coated with extra layers of UV resistant polymer which means it will fade less in direct sunlight compared to standard metal (the manufacturers quote 2 years+ but in reality it will likely be much longer).

We’ve also added Double Sided finishes (in White 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm, and Bright Silver 0.5 mm) to bookmarks and Christmas decorations, as well as in the 2 major update categories!

In our project, there’s a helpful guide to our website! This will highlight areas on our website for info, as well as hints & tips on navigating and finding products.

Finally, don’t forget our Summer Shutdown is the end of August. We closed for a week as normal, so please take this into account when ordering before, after, and during this week.

July/August Free Gift

The Free Gift for July is one of our White 0.7 mm Business Cards. Also provided will be a magnet strip so you can see how well this size works as a fridge magnet! This is a great opportunity to sample our 
0.7 mm metal and see how it compares to our standard 0.5 mm

Seasonal/Marketing Ideas

We’ve explored a few ideas already about how you can use our brilliant magnetic steel, especially for more practical uses with our Revision Board and Wall Chart Sets.

Thinking ahead to Christmas, the steel is perfect for creating fun countdowns where you move a shape along as the days go by! It doesn’t just have to be a Christmas countdown either – consider countdowns to Birthdays, Holidays, Weddings, and other special occasions. You can even utilise the dry wipe feature of our metal and create a versatile countdown where the occasion can be written in and changed whenever the user has something to look forward to!

The new Magnetic Family Sets are a lovely idea which also don’t just have to be a Christmas or winter themed product! The set comes with an A4 Ricoh sheet of steel, your choice of shape set, and magnets to attach to the shapes. They are a brilliant personalised gift idea for the festive season, but can easily be designed for whatever style and season that you and your customers prefer, such as: Halloween, Autumn, and Spring…

We’ve also got a handful of fun new and updated products for you to check out:

The Numbers and Letters were previously only available in XXL A5 and XL A6 sizes, but we have now added Medium and Small sizes to both of these. These sizes are great for keyrings, fridge magnets, and even for using on cards to give them a 3D finish!

Continuing along the same lines, we have also launched some brand new Number Badges! These are custom cut so you can choose whichever number you would like to become a badge, allowing you to create badges for occasions such as Birthdays and Long Service celebrations.

We have a new Poodle and Fox Shape (both slotting nicely into our range of canines!) They are both available in a range of sizes allowing for all sorts of products to be created!

The Poinsettia Flower is another new addition to our collection of flower shapes. It is great for gardening fans, but also works well as a classic decoration for Christmas! You can even layer the shapes over each other to build up a stunning 3D effect (for an elegant table centrepiece on your Christmas table maybe?), and of course it’s a perfect addition to our seasonal wreath…

One Item, Three Ways – Wreath ‘How To’!

We now offer three variations of the classic wreath – with bendable hooks, with velcro pads, and magnetic. Below is a mini ‘how to’ for each of the wreath styles, which will hopefully help you decide which is best for your customers!

Wreath with Hooks – Each of the wreaths are supplied flat with a choice of either 6 or 12 hooks. After printing your design onto the wreath, pull the hooks out a little and bend them up at around the halfway point to create the space for your shapes to hang. We offer a selection of shape sets based on themes so you can create whatever kind of wreath that you want! Each shape is supplied with one hole in the top to allow you to hang them on the hooks.

Velcro Wreath – Choose your size of ring and your shape set to get started. These sets are supplied with a length of hook and loop (velcro) pads that you can cut to size yourself and position on the wreath wherever you like. The shapes can easily be switched out and moved position as needed – which makes these a great idea for interactive wreaths that could double up as countdowns or reward trackers!

Magnetic Wreath – These rings are our weighty 0.7 mm steel and they come supplied with your chosen shape set along with a set of magnets so you can attach the shapes to the wreath. This is an even more versatile wreath as you can change the placement and the shapes used anywhere on the wreath! Consider offering these wreaths with multiple shape sets to create an interactive decoration that can be used year round for multiple occasions!
